This is an amazing flashlight. I started with a brand new 2 'C' cell aluminum flashlight, made by Oracle . I installed a 1 watt 18 lumen white Luxeon Star LED into this flashlight. I also put in a voltage/current regulator, to maintain constant brightness. This flashlight also uses collimating optics, specially designed to produce a nice even beam of light. Lasts about 12 hours on a set of 2 'C' cell batteries.
