Flashlight Modified With A Cyan 5 Watt Luxeon Star LED

(120 Lumens!)

(Aluminum, Modified To Use 3 Lithium L123 Batteries)

This is an amazing flashlight. I started with a brand new 2 'C' cell aluminum flashlight, made by Oracle . I installed a 5 watt 120 lumen cyan Luxeon Star LED into this flashlight. I used the collimating optics. This flashlight originally used 2 'C' cells, but I have modified it to use 3 Lithium L123 batteries. It has a spacer to make the 3 L123 cells fit snug. It produces a huge flood of light, a 10 degree beam. The color of the light is green blue. Our eyes perceive light best in this range of the light spectrum. I get about 6 hours of extremely bright light, and many more hours of useful, gradually diminishing light.

I measure about 2,000 lux from one meter. This is not a narrow hot spot of light, but a huge flood of light.

Lasts up to 100,000 hours!

Excellent Self-Defense tool, as it will temporarily stun a threat by directing the beam into the eyes! Nobody can look into this beam!
