The unit completely seals itself with rubber "O" ring seals. The lamp head can be tilted up to 90 degrees for close-up work. Other features include a Luxeon Star 1W LED, 30mm collimating optics, large positive on/off switch for easy use, and an adjustable rubber headband with comfort pad.
This headlamp is perfect for caving, various water sports, or for any situation where a good bright headlamp is needed or useful. It uses a Lumiled's Luxeon Star LED, lambertian style, and a 30mm collimating optics. The combination produces a very bright, very white, beam of light. Beamshot photos will follow later, with run time tests, etc. This headlamp used 4 AA batteries.
