Elektro Lumens
This first photo is the new Lambertian Luxeon Star, mounted in one of my new Blaster prototypes. I am driving it direct from 3 'C' cells, so it is being driven well over 1000mA. With the old optics, you can see the color breakup, and uneveness. It looks worse than this with the naked eye.

This second photo is with the old optics, but refocused. I did this by setting the optics out from the holder about 1/16". You can see it focuses pretty good. It is extremely bright, and the color is even, with a nice bright spot. I really like the color of these new Lambertian Luxeon Stars. I do not have any of the new optics to try at the present time, but some are coming my way shortly. I was sent the incorrect older optics, which I returned, and was promised the newer ones.

The following photo is of the Lambertian Luxeon Star, without any optics at all. This is actually a very good way to use the Luxeon Star, if you want an area light, like lighting up a room.
