5D Cell Flashlight Modified With Two Cyan 5 Watt Luxeon Star LED

(Uses 5 'D' Cell Batteries)

This is an amazing flashlight. This is a brand new Smith & Wesson 5 'D' cell flashlight, I installed two 5 watt 120 lumen cyan Luxeon Star LEDs into this flashlight, for a combined light output of 240 Lumens, 10 watts! I used the collimating optics, and a custom made optics holder (copper). It produces a huge flood of light, with a 10 degree beam. The color of the light is green blue. Our eyes perceive light best in this range of the light spectrum. I get between 8 to 12 hours of extremely bright light, and another 48 hours of gradually diminishing but useful light. Up to 1,000 hours of low level light!

Lasts up to 100,000 hours!

Uses inexpensive, 'D' cell batteries, resulting in very low flashlight use cost. Saves you big money!

Excellent Self-Defense tool, as it will temporarily stun a threat by directing the beam into the eyes! Nobody can look into this beam!

Here is a photo showing the beam of this flashlight in comparison to a 1 watt white Luxeon Star emitter. (The 1 watt beam is next to the 5W dual, but doesn't show up in the photo, as it was so overpowered by the other light!)
