Elektro Lumens Presents
Tri-Star
Astounding! Up to 216 Lumens of Light!
The new Elektrolumens 'Tri-Star' flashlight is amazingly bright. The Tri-Star uses three powerful 3W Luxeon Star LEDs, and a revolutionary new collimating optics by Fraen optics, called the Tri-lens. The three 3W Luxeon Star LEDs are capable of producing up to 216 lumens of light (depending on type of batteries used). These LEDs have a 50,000 hour life expectancy, are impervious to impact. It is doubtful that common incandesent light bulb 3 D cell flashlights can come even remotely close to the brightness, endurance, or efficiency of this new flashlight.
This amaizing new flashlight has the following features:
- Three super powerful 3 watt Luxeon Stars
- Fraen Tri-lens (3 collimators in 1)
- Uses 4 inexpensive and common D cells, either alkalines, rechargables, or lithiums.
- High quality aluminum construction. Only Black anodizing available
Easy to swap the lamp assemly out. You can easily take out the lamp assembly, and replace it with another.
Perhaps you want red, blue, green, cyan, amber, lighting. Just open up the head, take out the lamp assembly, remove the Luxeon Star heat sink assembly, and replace with another.
Possible to put a teather strap on the tailcap.
Here are some beam shot comparisons, with my Blaster VI 5 watt Luxeon Star flashlight. In the first photo, the Tri-Star has 3 1W Luxeon Star LEDs in it, and is powered by 3 nimh D cells:
You can see how the Tri-Star has a very centered and bright beam, comparable to the 5W Blaster VI. It is hard to tell in the photo, but the Tri-Star has a nice side spill, which is useful for close up illumination. The beam throws very far, and easy 200 feet to 300 feet.
In this next photo, I put in three 3 watt Luxeon Stars, which makes this light a 9 watt flashlight. The 3W Luxeon Star LEDs will be a future option. (It is very easy and simple to change out the LED disc.)
In this photo, you can see the Tri-Star is very focused, and very bright. It puts out nearly twice the light of my Blaster VI flashlight, and gets up to 12 hours of battery life (depends on the type of batteries used).
