I wanted to send you a couple of pictures of my 30mm optic mod. I wanted to design a pr base style drop in so that I could easily change out different ones(high dome, low dome, side emitting, different color) if I desired. I am using a low dome since that is what I had. I was also concerned about heat sinking, so I designed a special heat sink that screws into the body and holds the pr style led mount in the light. It has very tight tolerances with the body and led base. I coated them with heat sink compound and screwed the whole thing together. The heatsink is not glued in, but pushed in place by the optic. I will at some point put more detailed photos and instructions together. I hope to order some optics at the end of this month. I am using the one out of my Blaster right now.
