Elektro Lumens "Blaster"
Luxeon Star LED Flashlights

Four Different Blaster Flashlight Options:
Blaster III - (3 'D' cells, 1 watt Luxeon Star) -
The Blaster III uses 3 'D' cell batteries. It also uses a 1 watt lambertian Luxeon Star LED. Expect 72 hours of useable light, the first 24 hours being nearly full brightness. About 30 Lumens of light.
Blaster V - (5 'D' cells, 5 watt Luxeon Star) - The Blaster V is a 5 'D' cell flashlight. It will use a 5 watt Luxeon Star LED. This LED puts out a whopping 120 LUMENS of light, which is at least 4 times brighter than the 1 watt Luxeon Star. Expect 12 ccontinuous hours of nearly full brightness. Expect about 1,000 hours more of useful (but much less bright) light.
Blaster-1R - (2 'D' cells, 1 watt Luxeon Star, voltage regulator) - The Blaster-1R is a 2 'D' cell flashlight, and has a voltage boost circuit. It also uses a 1 watt lambertian Luxeon Star LED. About 25 Lumens of light. After 24 hours continuous on, the light is about 50% of original brightness. This is using ordinary alkaline D cells.
Blaster VI - (6 AA cells, 5 watt Luxeon Star)- The Blaster VI is a 2 'D' cell size flashlight (same flashlight body as the Blaster-1R. This flashlight has two differnt battery holders: 1) CR123 holder/sleeve.
This allows for use of CR123 batteries. 2) A battery holder I call '3-To-D'.
This battery holder is the same size as a 'D' cell battery, but holds 3 AA batteries. Two of these in the flashlight will produce 9 volts. Initially, the flashlight will come with the CR123 holder, as the 3-To-D holders are behind production schedule. This flashlight is just as bright as the Blaster V, but much smaller. Battery life is about 2 hours on 6AA batteries.
